4. Operation

4.1 Starting the Engine

1. Place the blower on a flat, stable surface.
2. Move the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
3. Push the primer bulb 6-10 times until fuel is visible in the clear return line.
4. Move the choke lever to the FULL CHOKE position.
5. Hold the blower firmly with one hand and pull the starter rope with the other hand until the engine attempts to start (usually 1-3 pulls).
6. Once the engine attempts to start, move the choke lever to the HALF CHOKE position.
7. Pull the starter rope again until the engine starts.
