2. Safety Information
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions before operating this product. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
- Always operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating.
- Ensure the compressor is placed on a stable, level surface.
- Never operate the compressor without proper lubrication. This unit does not ship with oil; ensure to add ISO VG 46 synthetic non-detergent compressor oil before first use.
- Always connect the external water cooling system and ensure it is functioning correctly before starting the compressor.
- Do not exceed the maximum pressure rating of the tank being filled.
- Keep hands, hair, and loose clothing away from moving parts.
- Disconnect power before performing any maintenance or adjustments.
- This product operates at high pressure. Exercise extreme caution and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Electric PCP Air Compressor Pump for first use:
- Unboxing and Inspection: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the packing list are present and undamaged.
- Add Compressor Oil: Locate the oil fill port on the compressor. This unit requires ISO VG 46 synthetic non-detergent compressor oil. Fill the oil reservoir to the indicated level. Note: The compressor does not come pre-filled with oil. Operating without oil will cause severe damage and void the warranty.
- Connect Water Cooling System: Attach the provided water pump and hoses to the compressor's water inlet and outlet ports. Place the water pump into a container filled with at least 5 gallons of clean water. Ensure the water pump is fully submerged.
- Connect High-Pressure Hose: Attach the high-pressure hose to the compressor's high-pressure output port. Connect the other end of the hose to the tank or device you intend to fill. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
- Power Connection: Plug the compressor's power cord into a standard 110V electrical outlet. Plug the water pump's power cord into an appropriate outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
Once the compressor is properly set up, follow these steps for operation:
- Set Desired Pressure: Use the adjustable gauge on the compressor to set your desired shut-off pressure. The large silver hand with a pin on the top indicates the auto-shutoff point. Adjust it by rotating the orange knob.
- Start Water Pump: Ensure the water pump is submerged and turn it on to begin circulating cooling water.
- Start Compressor: Flip the main power switch on the compressor to the "ON" position. The compressor will begin to fill the connected tank.
- Monitor Operation: Continuously monitor the pressure gauge and the temperature display during operation. The compressor will automatically shut off once the preset pressure is reached. The maximum recommended operating temperature is 75°C.
- Release Pressure: After the compressor stops, slowly open the pressure relief screw to release any residual pressure in the hose before disconnecting the tank.
- Power Off: Turn off the main power switch on the compressor and then turn off the water pump.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your compressor:
- Oil Level Check: Regularly check the oil level using the sight glass. Refill with ISO VG 46 synthetic non-detergent compressor oil if the level is low.
- Drain Moisture: Periodically drain any accumulated moisture from the compressor's moisture trap to prevent corrosion and ensure dry air output.
- Cooling System: Keep the cooling water clean and free of debris. Replace the water periodically, especially if it appears cloudy or dirty. Inspect the water pump and hoses for any blockages or damage.
- Air Filter: Inspect and clean or replace the air filter as needed to ensure proper airflow and prevent contaminants from entering the compressor.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Compressor does not start. | No power, loose connection, or thermal overload. | Check power cord, ensure switch is ON. Allow unit to cool if overheated. |
| Compressor runs but no pressure builds. | Leaking connections, pressure relief screw open, or internal issue. | Check all hose connections for leaks. Ensure pressure relief screw is closed. Contact support if issue persists. |
| Compressor overheats quickly. | Insufficient cooling water, blocked water lines, or prolonged operation. | Ensure water pump is running and water level is adequate. Clean water lines. Allow compressor to cool down between uses. |
| Automatic shut-off not working correctly. | Incorrect pressure setting or gauge malfunction. | Verify the auto-shutoff pressure is set correctly on the gauge. If the issue persists, the gauge may need replacement. |
| Excessive noise or vibration. | Loose components, worn parts, or improper placement. | Check for loose screws or fittings. Ensure the compressor is on a stable surface. |
For issues not listed above, please contact customer support.
