6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Keyboard
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and casing. Avoid excessive moisture.
- For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
- Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents as they may damage the keyboard's finish or keycap legends.
6.2 Keycap Removal (Optional)
If you need to clean under the keycaps or replace them, use a keycap puller tool (not included) to gently remove the keycaps. Pull straight up to avoid damaging the switch stem. Realign the keycap with the switch stem and press down gently to reattach.
7. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard Not Responding:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
- Try plugging the keyboard into a different USB port on your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out a computer-specific issue.
- Specific Keys Not Working:
- Check for any debris or foreign objects lodged under the keycap.
- Gently remove the keycap (refer to Section 6.2) and inspect the switch for damage.
- N-Key Rollover Issues:
- Ensure NKRO is enabled using the FN + Insert combination.
- Some older operating systems or BIOS settings may not fully support NKRO.
