This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Denon DSB-250BT Envaya Portable Bluetooth Speaker. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.
2. Safety Instructions
- Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.
- Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain water and dust resistance.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the speaker. This will void the warranty and may cause damage.
- Use only the provided USB cable for charging.
- Avoid dropping the speaker or subjecting it to strong impacts.

4. Product Overview
4.1 Controls and Indicators
Familiarize yourself with the speaker's control panel:

- Power Button: Press to turn the speaker on or off.
- Volume Up (+): Increases playback volume.
- Volume Down (-): Decreases playback volume.
- Bluetooth Pairing Button: Initiates Bluetooth pairing mode.
- Call Button: Answers or ends phone calls. Also activates voice assistant.

5. Getting Started
5.1 Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. A full charge provides up to 13 hours of continuous playback.
- Open the protective cover on the side of the speaker to access the charging port.
- Connect the supplied USB cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not supplied) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. It will turn off or change color when charging is complete.
- Once charged, securely close the protective cover to maintain water and dust resistance.
5.2 Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (circle with a line) until the indicator light illuminates.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the indicator light turns off.
5.3 Bluetooth Pairing
Pair your speaker with a Bluetooth-enabled device to stream audio wirelessly.
- Ensure the speaker is powered on.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth Pairing button (Bluetooth symbol) until the Bluetooth indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Denon Envaya" or "DSB-250BT" from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will glow steadily.
5.4 Envaya Link (Stereo Pairing)
Connect two DSB-250BT speakers for a stereo sound experience.
- Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On the first speaker (which will be the left channel), press and hold the Bluetooth Pairing button until the indicator flashes.
- On the second speaker (which will be the right channel), press and hold the Bluetooth Pairing button until the indicator flashes.
- The speakers will automatically search for each other and link. Once linked, the indicator lights on both speakers will glow steadily.
- Now, pair your device to the first speaker as described in Section 5.3. Audio will play in stereo across both speakers.
5.5 Auxiliary Input
Connect devices without Bluetooth using a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied).
- Open the protective cover on the side of the speaker.
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable to the speaker's AUX input.
- Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your device.
- The speaker will automatically switch to AUX input mode.
- Adjust volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
- Securely close the protective cover when not in use.
6. Operation
6.1 Playing Music
Once paired via Bluetooth or connected via AUX, simply start playback on your source device. The speaker will output the audio.
6.2 Volume Control
- Press the Volume Up (+) button to increase the volume.
- Press the Volume Down (-) button to decrease the volume.
- You can also adjust the volume directly from your connected source device.
6.3 Hands-Free Phone Calling
When connected via Bluetooth, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.
- Answer a Call: Press the Call button (phone icon) once when an incoming call rings.
- End a Call: Press the Call button once during a call.
- Reject a Call: Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds when an incoming call rings.
6.4 Voice Assistant Compatibility (Siri)
For iPhone users, the speaker supports Siri voice commands when paired via Bluetooth.
- Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds to activate Siri on your paired iPhone.
- Speak your command clearly into the speaker's built-in microphone.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the charging port cover is closed.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
