3. Processor Installation

  1. Carefully open the CPU socket retention mechanism.
  2. Align the AMD EPYC processor with the socket, ensuring the gold triangle on the CPU matches the triangle on the socket.
  3. Gently place the processor into the socket without forcing it.

4. Memory Installation

  1. Locate the 16 DDR4 DIMM slots.
  2. Open the retention clips on both ends of the DIMM slot.
  3. Align the memory module with the slot, ensuring the notch on the module matches the key in the slot.
  4. Press down firmly on both ends of the memory module until the retention clips snap into place.
  5. For optimal performance, populate DIMM slots according to the motherboard's memory population guidelines (refer to the full manual for specific configurations).

5. Power Connections

  • Connect the 24-pin ATX power connector from your power supply to the corresponding header on the motherboard.
  • Connect the 8-pin CPU power connectors (EPS12V) to the motherboard. Ensure both are connected for dual CPU configurations.
