1. Important Safety Information

Read all instructions carefully before assembling and using the Inglesina Zippy Light Stroller. Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury to your child. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Always use the 5-point safety harness.
• Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
• Ensure all locking devices are engaged before use.
• Do not overload the storage basket or attach items to the handle, as this may cause the stroller to become unstable.
• The stroller is suitable for newborns and children up to 55 lbs (25 kg).
• Do not use accessories or spare parts other than those approved by Inglesina.

2. Product Overview

The Inglesina Zippy Light Stroller is a lightweight, car seat compatible stroller designed for comfort and convenience. It features a fully reclining backrest, adjustable footrest, and a large extendable UPF 50+ canopy.

3. Setup and Assembly

3.1 Unfolding the Stroller

1. Place the folded stroller on a flat surface.
2. Release the side locking mechanism.
3. Lift the handle firmly until the stroller fully extends and locks into the open position. Ensure all frame components are securely locked.

3.2 Attaching Accessories

The stroller includes a bumper bar, rain cover, cup holder, shoulder pads, and a large storage basket.

• Bumper Bar: Attach the bumper bar to the designated slots on the stroller frame until it clicks into place.
• Cup Holder: Secure the cup holder to the side of the stroller handle.
• Shoulder Pads: Thread the harness straps through the shoulder pads for added comfort.
• Storage Basket: The large storage basket is pre-attached to the frame. Ensure it is properly secured before use.

3.3 Car Seat Compatibility

The Inglesina Zippy Light stroller is compatible with specific car seats using an optional adapter (sold separately). Compatible car seats include:

• Maxi-Cosi (Mico 30, Mico Max 30, Mico NXT)
• Cybex (Aton, Aton Q, Aton 2)
• Nuna (Pipa, Pipa Lite)

Refer to the car seat adapter's instructions for proper installation.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting the Seat Recline

The backrest offers multiple recline positions. To adjust, locate the recline mechanism behind the seat and follow the instructions to achieve the desired angle. Ensure the seat is securely locked in position before placing your child in the stroller.

4.2 Adjusting the Footrest

The footrest can be adjusted to provide comfort for your child as they grow. Press the buttons on either side of the footrest to move it up or down.

4.3 Using the 5-Point Safety Harness

Always secure your child with the 5-point safety harness. Insert each buckle tongue into the central buckle until it clicks. Adjust the shoulder and waist straps for a snug, secure fit. To release, press the button on the central buckle.

4.4 Canopy Operation

The large, extendable UPF 50+ canopy provides sun protection. Extend or retract the canopy as needed. The canopy features a windowed mesh section for increased airflow and visibility.

4.5 Folding the Stroller

The stroller can be folded with one hand for compact storage.

1. Ensure the seat is in an upright position and the canopy is retracted.
2. Locate the folding mechanism on the handle.
3. Activate the mechanism and push the handle forward and down until the stroller folds compactly.
4. Engage the side locking mechanism to keep the stroller folded. The stroller is designed to stand upright when folded.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning Instructions

• The seat cover is removable and washable. Handwash in cold water with mild soap. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or iron.
• Clean the frame and plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Dry thoroughly.
• Regularly check wheels for debris and clean as necessary.

5.2 General Care

• Periodically check all fasteners, rivets, and connections for tightness and security.
• Lubricate moving parts (e.g., wheels, folding mechanisms) with a silicone-based lubricant if they become stiff.
• Store the stroller in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6. Troubleshooting

Stroller does not open or close smoothly:

Ensure all locking mechanisms are fully disengaged before attempting to open or close. Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism. Lubricate moving parts if necessary. Ensure the bottom latches near the front wheels are properly locked when opening.

Wheels are difficult to maneuver:

Check wheels for debris (e.g., hair, dirt) and clean them. Ensure the wheel locks are disengaged if you intend for them to swivel. Lubricate wheel axles if needed.

Seat recline is difficult to adjust:

Ensure no fabric or other items are obstructing the recline mechanism. Apply gentle, even pressure when adjusting.

Handlebar feels unstable:

The handlebar design allows for flexibility during folding. While it may feel less rigid than some, it is designed for durability and function. Ensure all frame connections are secure.
