Setup

Battery Installation

The SpyX Double Agent Tool Set requires batteries for operation. Please follow these steps for installation:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of each Walkie Talkie and the Spy Recon Watch.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment. The Spy Recon Watch requires 1 LR44 battery (included). Please refer to the product packaging for Walkie Talkie battery requirements.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Note: Always use fresh batteries of the specified type. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.

Spy Walkie Talkies

The SpyX Walkie Talkies provide a reliable means of communication for junior spies, with a range of up to 400 feet.

1. Power On/Off: Locate the power button (usually a dedicated button or a dial) and turn on both Walkie Talkies.
2. Channel Selection: Ensure both Walkie Talkies are set to the same channel for communication. The display will show the selected channel (e.g., "08CH").
3. Speaking: To transmit your voice, press and hold the "Push to Talk" (PTT) button, typically located on the side of the Walkie Talkie. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the button when finished speaking.
4. Listening: When the PTT button is not pressed, the Walkie Talkie is in receive mode, allowing you to hear transmissions from the other unit.
5. Range: The Walkie Talkies have an effective range of up to 400 feet (approximately 120 meters) in open areas. Obstacles like walls and buildings may reduce this range.
