1. Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the Aigostar Mini Mint 31JTI Handheld Garment Steamer. Retain this manual for future reference.

  • Always ensure the appliance is unplugged before filling or emptying the water tank, or when not in use.
  • Use only clean tap water in the water tank. Do not add perfumes, vinegar, starch, or other chemicals, as this may damage the appliance or cause blockages.
  • Never use the steamer on clothes while they are being worn or directly on skin. Steam is hot and can cause burns.
  • Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets.

  • Water Shortage Indicator: Illuminates when the water tank is low or empty.

3. Setup

Filling the Water Tank:

  1. Ensure the steamer is unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the water tank from the main unit. The tank is designed for easy removal in one step.
  3. Open the rubber stopper on the water tank.
  4. Fill the 230ml water tank with clean tap water. Do not overfill.
  5. Securely close the rubber stopper and reattach the water tank to the steamer unit until it clicks into place.

Attaching Accessories:

To attach a brush, align the brush with the steam nozzle and press firmly until it locks into place. To remove, pull the brush away from the nozzle.

4. Operating Instructions

Powering On and Preheating:

  1. After filling the water tank, plug the steamer into a suitable power outlet (230V).
  2. Press the power button. The steamer will begin to heat up.
  3. The steamer will be ready for use in approximately 30-45 seconds, indicated by the steam level indicator lighting up.

Selecting Steam Levels:

The steamer offers two steam levels to suit different fabric types:

  • Press the power button once to select the default steam level (usually High Steam).
  • Press the power button again to switch to the ECO (Low Steam) mode for more delicate fabrics or lighter wrinkles.
  • The corresponding indicator on the LED display will light up to show the selected steam level.

Steaming Garments:

Hold the steamer upright and press the steam trigger to release steam. For continuous steam, engage the lock on the steam trigger.

  • Hanging Ironing: Hang the garment on a hanger. Hold the fabric taut with one hand and move the steamer nozzle downwards over the wrinkles with the other hand.
  • Flat Ironing: Place the garment on a clean, heat-resistant flat surface. Gently glide the steamer over the fabric.

Using the Brushes:

Powering Off:

To turn off the steamer, press and hold the power button until the indicators turn off. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet after use.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning:

  1. Ensure the steamer is unplugged and completely cooled down before cleaning.
  2. Empty any remaining water from the water tank.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the steamer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  4. Clean the steam nozzle and brushes as needed to remove any lint or residue.

Descaling:

Over time, mineral deposits from water can build up inside the steamer. To descale, fill the water tank with a mixture of 50% water and 50% white vinegar. Run the steamer until half the solution is used, then unplug and let it cool. Repeat with clean water to rinse. Perform descaling every few months, depending on water hardness and usage frequency.

Storage:

Once the steamer is clean and dry, store it in a cool, dry place. Its compact size makes it ideal for storage in small spaces or for travel.
