5. Setup

5.1 Mounting the Hoist

The hoist must be securely mounted to a robust overhead structure, such as a steel beam or reinforced concrete ceiling, capable of supporting at least twice the maximum rated load. Use the provided U-shaped mounting brackets, bolts, and washers.

  1. Identify a suitable mounting location that can safely bear the weight.
  2. Position the hoist and secure it using the two U-shaped brackets and bolts. Ensure the brackets are tightened firmly to prevent movement.
  3. For optimal stability, it is recommended to use a square or rectangular metal bar that fits within the inner dimensions of the mounting rings (44mm x 44mm) to fix the hoist.

5.2 Cable Configuration

The hoist can be configured for single-line or double-line lifting, affecting both lifting capacity and speed.

  • Single-Cable Lifting: For loads up to 220 lbs (100 kg), attach the load directly to the main hook. This provides a lifting height of 38 ft and a speed of 33 ft/min.
  • Double-Cable Lifting: For loads up to 440 lbs (200 kg), use the provided pulley block. Loop the wire rope through the pulley block and attach the pulley's hook to the load. Then, secure the end of the wire rope back to the hoist's main body. This configuration reduces the lifting height to 19 ft and the speed to 16 ft/min.

5.3 Emergency Stop Switch

The red emergency stop button on the remote control is normally locked in the original setting for safety. Before operation, rotate the red button clockwise to release it. The button will pop up, indicating the remote is ready for use. To engage the emergency stop, press the red button down until it locks. The hoist will not respond to up/down commands when the emergency stop is engaged.

5.4 Limit Switch

6. Operating Instructions
