4. Setup and Installation

4.2 Step-by-Step Installation

1. Turn Off Power: Locate your circuit breaker panel and turn off the power to the switch you are replacing.
2. Remove Existing Switch: Carefully remove the wallplate and unscrew the existing switch from the wall box. Disconnect the wires.
3. Identify Wires: Identify the line (hot), load, neutral, and ground wires. The neutral wire is typically white.
4. Wire the Dimmer: Connect the wires from the wall box to the corresponding wires on the Lutron Diva dimmer. Ensure all connections are secure.
