Battery Replacement:

Replace batteries when the remote's response becomes sluggish or stops working. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Cleaning:

To clean the remote control, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Storage:

Store the remote in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If the remote will not be used for an extended period, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

6. Troubleshooting

Remote Not Responding:

  • Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
  • Replace old batteries with new ones.
  • Check for any obstructions between the remote and the TV's infrared sensor.
  • Ensure you are within the operable distance (up to 8 meters) and pointing the remote directly at the TV.

Specific Buttons Not Working:

  • This remote is pre-programmed for the listed Toshiba TV models. Ensure your TV model is compatible.
  • Clean the remote's surface, especially around the non-working buttons, to remove any debris that might be preventing proper contact.
