1. Introduction

The AVANTEK Wireless Door Bell Mini CB-11 is a versatile and reliable doorbell system designed for ease of use and durability. Featuring a waterproof transmitter and a plug-in receiver, it offers a wide operating range of up to 1000 feet (300 meters). With 52 selectable melodies, 5 adjustable volume levels, and an integrated LED flash, this doorbell ensures you never miss a visitor. Its memory function retains your preferred settings even after a power outage, providing a convenient and enhanced user experience.

3. Setup

3.1. Transmitter Installation

The transmitter can be installed using either the provided double-sided bonding tape or screws and anchors.

  1. Using Double-sided Bonding Tape: Clean the desired mounting surface thoroughly. Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided tape and apply it firmly to the back of the transmitter. Peel off the other side of the film and press the transmitter firmly onto the wall or door frame for at least 30 seconds.
  2. Using Screws and Anchors: Open the transmitter casing using the provided key or a small screwdriver. Mark the desired drilling points on the wall. Drill two holes, insert the wall anchors, and then secure the transmitter through its mounting holes with the screws. Close the transmitter casing securely.

3.2. Receiver Setup

The receiver is designed for simple plug-and-play operation.

  1. Plug the receiver into any standard electrical outlet within range of the transmitter. Ensure it is not obstructed by large objects or other electronics that could interfere with the signal.
  2. The receiver will light up, indicating it is powered on and ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Volume Adjustment

The receiver offers 5 adjustable volume levels, including a mute mode, with a maximum setting of 115 dB. Use the volume control button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the levels.

4.2. Melody Selection

Choose from 52 distinct melodies to personalize your doorbell chime.

  1. Use the Next or Previous buttons on the side of the receiver to browse through the available melodies.
  2. Press the desired melody button to hear a preview.
  3. Once you find a melody you like, simply stop pressing the buttons. The selected melody will be saved automatically.

4.3. Pairing Transmitters and Receivers

The doorbell system allows for pairing multiple transmitters with multiple receivers. Each transmitter can be programmed with a different ringtone.

  1. Plug in the receiver.
  2. Select your desired melody using the melody selection buttons.
  3. Press and hold the Volume button on the receiver for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator starts flashing rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
  4. Immediately press the transmitter button. The receiver's LED will stop flashing, and you will hear the selected melody, confirming successful pairing.
  5. To pair additional transmitters, repeat steps 2-4 for each new transmitter.

4.4. Memory Function

The doorbell system is equipped with a memory function. In the event of a power outage, the receiver will remember your last selected melody and volume level, eliminating the need to reset your preferences.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Transmitter Battery Replacement

The transmitter uses a CR2032 lithium battery, which boasts a maximum lifespan of 3 years under normal use. When the transmitter's LED no longer flashes or the signal becomes weak, it's time to replace the battery.

  1. Locate the small notch on the side of the transmitter casing.
  2. Carefully insert the provided key or a small flat-head screwdriver into the notch and gently pry open the casing.
  3. Remove the old CR2032 battery.
  4. Insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  5. Align the two halves of the casing and press firmly until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the seal is tight to maintain its waterproof rating.

5.2. Cleaning

Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface or internal components. The transmitter is IP55 dustproof and waterproof, allowing it to withstand various harsh weather conditions, but avoid submerging it in water.
