Setup

1. Monitor Compatibility

The BenQ ScreenBar is designed to fit most monitors with a thickness between 0.4 inches (1 cm) and 1.2 inches (3 cm). It is also compatible with ultrawide and curved monitors with a curvature of 1500R and above. Ensure your monitor meets these specifications for optimal stability.

2. Attaching the ScreenBar

  1. Gently place the ScreenBar onto the top edge of your monitor. The patented counterweight clamp will securely hold the lamp in place without requiring screws or adhesives, preventing damage to your monitor.
  2. Adjust the position of the ScreenBar to ensure the light is directed downwards onto your desk area, avoiding direct glare on the screen. The lamp head angle can be adjusted up to 20 degrees.

Glare Reduction and Coverage

The ScreenBar utilizes ASYM-Light technology, which employs a patented reflector and lens to minimize screen glare and reflections. This design ensures that light is directed onto your desk area, providing wide lighting coverage of approximately 23.6 inches by 11.8 inches (60x30cm) at 500 lux, without causing discomfort to your eyes from screen reflections.

  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the ScreenBar and the power source.
  • Try a different USB port or power adapter to rule out a faulty power source.
  • Verify the power source provides sufficient power (5V, 1A minimum).
Light flickers or is unstable.Insufficient power or faulty connection.
  • Ensure the USB power source can provide stable power.
  • Check for any damage to the USB cable.
