Introduction

The Technoline WS 8013 is a modern radio-controlled wall clock featuring a large, clear LCD display. Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the clock.
  2. Insert 4x AA Mignon LR06 batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings (+ and -).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Power-On and Signal Reception

Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically begin searching for the DCF-77 radio signal. This process may take several minutes (typically 5-7 minutes). During this time, the radio signal icon will flash on the display.

  • For optimal reception, place the clock near a window and away from electronic devices that might cause interference.
  • Once the signal is received, the time and date will be automatically set, and the radio signal icon will appear steadily on the display.

3. Language Setting (if applicable)

4. Mounting Options

Operating

1. Display Overview

The large LCD display provides the following information:

  • Bottom Left: Indoor temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
  • Bottom Middle: Full day of the week and date (day/month).

2. Button Functions

The clock features three control buttons located at the bottom right of the display:

  • MODE: Used to cycle through display modes or enter setting menus.
  • SNOOZE: Typically used to temporarily stop an alarm, but since this model does not have an alarm function, it may be used for other settings or display adjustments.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement
