Setup
1. Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
- Slide the battery cover downwards and lift to open.
- Insert two new AAA batteries, matching the (+) and (-) terminals as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
2. Device Programming
This universal remote can control up to four different audio/video devices. There are two primary methods for programming your devices: Automatic Code Search and Direct Code Entry.
Direct Code Entry
This method allows you to enter a specific code for your device's brand. Refer to the manufacturer's website (e.g., byjasco.com/remotecodes) for a comprehensive list of codes.
- Turn on the device you wish to control (e.g., TV, DVD player).
- Press and hold the SETUP button on the remote until the red indicator light turns on, then release.
- Press and release the desired device button on the remote (TV, DVD, CBL, SAT, AUX, DVR). The red indicator light will flash once and remain on.
- Using the number buttons, enter the 4-digit code for your device.
- Point the remote at the device and test different buttons (e.g., POWER, VOLUME, CHANNEL) to see if the device responds.
- If the device responds correctly, press the same device button again to save the code. The red indicator light will turn off.
- If the device does not respond, repeat steps 2-6, trying the next code listed for your brand.

Automatic Code Search
This method scans through the remote's code library to find a working code for your device.
- Turn on the device you wish to control.
- Press and hold the SETUP button on the remote until the red indicator light turns on, then release.
- Press and release the desired device button on the remote (TV, DVD, CBL, SAT, AUX, DVR). The red indicator light will flash once and remain on.
- Point the remote at the device and press the POWER button repeatedly (approximately every 2 seconds) until the device turns off.
- Once the device turns off, press the same device button again to save the code. The red indicator light will turn off.
- Test other functions (e.g., VOLUME, CHANNEL) to ensure full functionality. If not, repeat the process to find a better code.
3. Preprogrammed Devices
The remote's TV and STRM (Streaming) device buttons are preprogrammed for immediate use with Samsung TVs and Roku streaming media boxes, respectively. No programming is required for these specific devices. Note that this remote is not compatible with Roku Streaming Sticks, Fire TV sticks, or other radio frequency devices.
Operating Instructions
1. Selecting a Device
To control a specific device, press the corresponding device button (TV, DVD, CBL, SAT, AUX, DVR) at the top of the remote. The remote will then send commands only to the selected device.

2. Button Functions
The remote features a variety of buttons for controlling your devices:
- POWER: Turns the selected device on or off.
- VOL +/-: Adjusts the volume.
- CH +/-: Changes channels.
- MUTE: Mutes the audio.
- MENU: Accesses the menu of the selected device.
- EXIT: Exits the current menu or screen.
- GUIDE: Displays the program guide.
- INFO: Displays information about the current program or selection.
- Navigation Pad (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK): Used for navigating menus and making selections.
- PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, RECORD, SCAN+/-, SKIP: Control media playback functions for DVD/Blu-ray players, DVRs, and streaming devices.
- Number Buttons (0-9): Used for direct channel entry and code programming.
- DOT (.): For accessing sub-channels (e.g., 7.1).
- LAST: Returns to the previous channel.
- A, B, C, D: Multi-functional buttons, often used for specific features on streaming devices or DVRs.
3. Master Volume Control
The master volume control feature allows you to adjust the audio output regardless of which device is currently selected. This means you can control your TV's volume even when the remote is set to control your DVD player.
To set up master volume control:
- Determine which device (e.g., TV or Soundbar) you want to control the volume for across all modes.
- Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator light turns on.
- Press the device button for the device you want to control the volume (e.g., TV).
- Press and release the MUTE button.
- Press and release the VOL+ button. The red indicator light will flash twice to confirm.
- Now, the VOL+/- and MUTE buttons will always control the volume of the selected device, regardless of the active device mode.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To clean the remote control, use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the remote's finish or internal components.
2. Battery Replacement
