3.2 Loading Nails

The P325 uses 16-gauge finish nails ranging from 3/4 inch to 2-1/2 inches in length.

  1. Ensure the battery pack is removed from the nailer.
  2. Pull back the pusher assembly until it locks into place.
  3. Insert a strip of 16-gauge finish nails into the magazine with the nail points facing down.
  4. Release the pusher assembly, allowing it to push the nails forward until they are seated against the nosepiece.

4. Operation

4.1 Adjusting Depth-of-Drive

The tool features a toolless depth-of-drive adjustment to control how deep the nail is driven into the workpiece.

  1. With the battery removed, locate the depth adjustment dial or lever near the nosepiece.
  2. Rotate the dial or move the lever to increase or decrease the nail depth. Test on a scrap piece of material to achieve the desired depth.
  3. Adjusting the depth helps protect the work surface and ensures proper nail setting.

  1. Ensure the battery is installed and nails are loaded.
  2. Place the nosepiece firmly against the workpiece where you want to drive a nail.
  3. Squeeze the trigger to fire a nail.
  4. For sequential firing, release the trigger and reposition the nosepiece for the next nail.

Important: Always ensure the nosepiece is fully depressed against the work surface before pulling the trigger to prevent accidental firing or misfires.

5. Maintenance

5.1 General Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain the tool's performance and extends its lifespan.

  • Always remove the battery pack before cleaning.
  • Use a clean, dry cloth to wipe down the exterior of the tool.
  • Periodically clear any dust or debris from the air vents using compressed air.
  • Keep the magazine free of sawdust and foreign material.
