Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Power On and Atomic Clock Synchronization
Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically power on and begin searching for the U.S. Atomic Clock signal. This process may take several minutes to an hour, depending on your location and signal strength. Ensure the clock is placed near a window for optimal reception.
- A signal icon will appear on the display when synchronization is successful.
- The time, date, and day will automatically set once synchronized.
Operating Instructions
1. Manual Time and Date Setting (If Atomic Signal is Unavailable)
If the atomic clock signal is not received, you can manually set the time and date:
- Press and hold the SET button (refer to Figure 2 for button location) until the time display flashes.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hour, then press SET to confirm.
- Repeat this process for minutes, year, month, and day.
- Press SET again to exit manual setting mode.
2. Setting the Alarm
- Press the ALARM button once to display the current alarm time.
- Press and hold the ALARM button until the alarm time flashes.

- To activate/deactivate the alarm, press the ALARM ON/OFF button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when activated.
3. Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button (typically the largest button on top or front, refer to Figure 2). The alarm will pause for approximately 5-10 minutes and then sound again. This can be repeated multiple times.
4. Backlight and Light Sensor
- Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to temporarily illuminate the display.
- The clock features a built-in light sensor that automatically dims the backlight in low-light conditions to conserve battery life and reduce brightness at night. This feature is usually controlled by a switch in the battery compartment or on the back of the unit.
5. Temperature Display
The clock continuously displays the indoor temperature in Fahrenheit (°F). No specific action is required to view this information.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the display or casing.
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section.
