7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your light fixture.

7.1 Cleaning

  • Disconnect Power: Always turn off the power supply to the fixture before cleaning.
  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes, as these can damage the finish.
  • Diffuser: The polycarbonate diffuser can be removed by gently unsnapping it. Clean it with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.

7.2 Fluorescent Tube Replacement

When a fluorescent tube reaches the end of its life or fails, it will need to be replaced.

  3. Remove Old Tube: Carefully twist the fluorescent tube 90 degrees and pull it out of its sockets.
