If your model includes a remote control, refer to the remote control's specific instructions for pairing and operation. The remote control typically allows for power on/off and potentially dimming functions, depending on the model variant.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your light fixture.
7.1 Cleaning
- Disconnect Power: Always turn off the power supply to the fixture before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the fixture with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes, as these can damage the finish.
- Diffuser: The polycarbonate diffuser can be removed by gently unsnapping it. Clean it with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
7.2 Fluorescent Tube Replacement
When a fluorescent tube reaches the end of its life or fails, it will need to be replaced.
- Disconnect Power: Turn off the power supply to the fixture at the circuit breaker.
- Remove Diffuser: Gently unsnap and remove the polycarbonate diffuser.
- Remove Old Tube: Carefully twist the fluorescent tube 90 degrees and pull it out of its sockets.
- Install New Tube: Insert the pins of the new G13 base fluorescent tube into the sockets and twist 90 degrees until it locks into place. Ensure the tube is rated for 26 Watts and 4000K color temperature for optimal performance.
- Reattach Diffuser: Snap the diffuser back onto the fixture.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and test the new tube.
Note: Dispose of old fluorescent tubes according to local regulations, as they may contain mercury.
