4. Setup and Installation

4.1. Car Seat Mode (9-18 kg)

For children weighing between 9 kg and 18 kg, use the car seat with the backrest and the integrated 5-point harness.

1. Position the Car Seat: Place the car seat on the vehicle's rear seat, ensuring it is stable and flush against the vehicle's seat back.
2. Route the Vehicle Seat Belt: Follow the car seat's designated belt path indicators (usually red for forward-facing) to route the vehicle's 3-point seat belt through the car seat.
3. Secure the Seat Belt: Buckle the vehicle's seat belt and pull it tight to remove all slack. The car seat should not move more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) from side to side or front to back at the belt path.
4. Adjust Head Support: Adjust the head support to the appropriate height for your child, ensuring their shoulders are aligned with the harness slots.

5. Operating Instructions

2. Bring the 5-point harness straps over your child's shoulders and buckle them into the central buckle.
3. Pull the harness adjustment strap to tighten the harness until it is snug against your child's body. You should not be able to pinch any excess webbing at your child's shoulder.
4. Ensure the chest clip is positioned at armpit level.

5.2. Adjusting the Head Support
