1. Introduction

The BOSE AWRCCC Wave Music System is a compact audio system designed to deliver high-quality sound. It integrates a CD player, AM/FM radio tuner, and supports MP3 playback from CD-R/RW discs. This system features advanced Dual Waveguide technology, an evolution of Bose's Acoustic Waveguide, enabling rich, deep bass from a compact unit. 2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all items are present: the Wave Music System unit, remote control, and power cord.

2.2 Placement

2.3 Power Connection

2.4 Antenna Connection

For optimal FM radio reception, connect the supplied FM antenna to the FM 25Ω ANTENNA port on the rear of the unit.

2.5 Connecting External Devices

  • AUX IN: Use the AUX IN port (mini plug) on the rear panel to connect external audio sources such as MP3 players or other devices.
  • BoseLink: The BoseLink terminal is provided for future function expansion and integration with other Bose systems.
  • Headphones: Connect headphones to the HEADPHONES jack on the rear panel for private listening.

3. Operating Instructions

The BOSE AWRCCC Wave Music System is operated exclusively using the included remote control.

3.1 Power On/Off

Press the POWER button on the remote control to turn the system on or off.

3.2 CD Playback

  1. Insert a CD (standard audio CD or MP3 CD-R/RW) into the slot-in CD drive. The disc will be automatically loaded.
  2. The system will automatically begin playback.
  3. Use the PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, and SEARCH buttons on the remote for control.
  4. For MP3 CDs, ID tag information (title, artist, genre) will be displayed on the unit's screen (English alphanumeric characters only).

3.3 AM/FM Radio

  1. Press the RADIO button on the remote control to switch to radio mode.
  2. Use the TUNE/PRESET buttons to scan for stations or select saved presets.
  3. To save a station as a preset, tune to the desired station, then press and hold a PRESET NUMBER button until the display confirms it is saved.

3.4 Volume Control

Adjust the volume using the VOLUME UP and VOLUME DOWN buttons on the remote control.

3.5 Speech EQ (Talk Mode)

This feature corrects excessive bass in radio sound, optimizing it for speech. Activate or deactivate Speech EQ via the remote control settings.

3.6 Soft Start Alarm Function

When using the timer function for automatic playback (e.g., as an alarm), the Soft Start feature gradually increases the volume to a comfortable level.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the exterior of the system with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials, as they may damage the finish.

4.2 CD Care

Handle CDs by their edges. Keep discs clean and free of scratches. Store them in their cases when not in use.

4.3 Remote Control Battery
