3. Setup and Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the fridge from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future transport or storage.
- Placement: Place the fridge on a flat, stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources (e.g., ovens, radiators), and moisture. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 10cm clearance on sides and back).
- Initial Standby: After transport, allow the fridge to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant fluids to settle.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (230 Volts).
- Door Reversal (Optional): The door is reversible. If you wish to change the door swing direction, refer to the detailed instructions provided in the separate door reversal guide (not included in this general manual, typically found online or with the product).

4. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Once plugged in and settled, the fridge will begin to cool.
- Temperature Adjustment: Locate the adjustable thermostat control, usually at the back or inside the unit. Turn the dial to your desired temperature setting. Lower numbers typically indicate warmer temperatures, and higher numbers indicate colder temperatures (range 3-18°C).
- Loading the Fridge: Arrange items to allow for proper air circulation. Do not overload the shelves.
- Internal LED Light: The internal LED light can be controlled via a switch, typically located near the light itself or on the control panel.
- Lock and Key: Use the supplied lock and key to secure the contents of the fridge when needed.

5. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning:
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- Clean the interior and exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Wipe dry thoroughly after cleaning.
- Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a proper seal.
- Defrosting: This appliance features a manual defrost system. Frost buildup on the cooling plate is normal.
- When frost reaches a thickness of about 5mm, unplug the unit.
- Remove all contents and shelves.
- Leave the door open to allow frost to melt naturally. Place a towel at the bottom to absorb water.
- Do not use sharp objects to remove frost.
- Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging back in.
- Shelves: The chrome wire shelves are removable for easy cleaning and flexible storage.
- Power Outage: In case of a power outage, keep the door closed to maintain internal temperature for as long as possible.
- Long-Term Storage: If the fridge will not be used for an extended period, unplug it, clean thoroughly, and leave the door slightly ajar to prevent odors and mold growth.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fridge does not operate. | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; power outage. | Check power connection; reset circuit breaker; check household power. |
| Fridge is not cold enough. | Thermostat set too warm; door opened too frequently; poor ventilation; overloaded. | Adjust thermostat to a colder setting; minimize door openings; ensure proper clearance; do not overload. |
| Excessive noise. | Fridge not level; objects vibrating against the unit; normal compressor operation. | Adjust leveling feet; ensure no objects are touching the fridge; slight humming is normal. |
| Water on floor/inside. | Drain hole blocked; excessive humidity; door not sealed properly. | Clear drain hole; ensure room is not excessively humid; check door gasket for proper seal. |
