1. Setup

1.1. Battery Installation

The Nerf Rival Prometheus MXVIII-20K blaster requires a rechargeable NiMh battery (included). Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use.

To install the battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the blaster.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert the rechargeable NiMh battery, ensuring correct polarity.
  4. Close the compartment cover securely.

1.2. Loading Rounds

The blaster features a high-capacity hopper that holds up to 200 Nerf Rival high-impact rounds.

To load the rounds:

  1. Open the hopper cover located on top of the blaster.
  2. Pour the 200 high-impact rounds into the hopper.
  3. Close the hopper cover firmly to secure the rounds.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1. Powering On and Firing

The Prometheus MXVIII-20K is a fully motorized blaster with an Advanced Acceleration System.

To operate the blaster:

  1. Ensure the battery is installed and charged, and the hopper is loaded with rounds.
  2. Hold the blaster firmly with both hands.
  3. Engage the acceleration trigger (usually a smaller trigger or button) to power up the motor. You will hear the motor spin up.
  4. While holding the acceleration trigger, pull the main firing trigger to launch rounds. The blaster can fire up to 8 rounds per second at a velocity of 100 feet per second (30 meters per second).

The blaster includes a trigger lock to prevent accidental firing.
