7. Troubleshooting

The KEMOT PROsinus inverter features built-in protection mechanisms. If an issue occurs, the device may emit an audible alarm or display an error code on the LED screen. Common issues and their potential causes/solutions are listed below:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No output power / Inverter not turning on
  • Battery not connected or low voltage.
  • Mains power not connected or "Mains ON/OFF" switch off.
  • Circuit breaker tripped.
  • Check battery connections and charge level.
  • Ensure mains power is connected and switch is on.
  • Reset the circuit breaker on the rear panel.
Overload alarm / Device shuts down
  • Total power of connected appliances exceeds 500W.
  • Reduce the load by disconnecting some appliances.
  • Restart the inverter.
Overheating alarm
  • Insufficient ventilation.
  • Prolonged operation at high load.
  • Ensure clear airflow around the unit.
  • Allow the unit to cool down.
  • Reduce load if operating continuously at high capacity.
Short-circuit protection activated
  • Short circuit in connected appliance or wiring.
  • Disconnect all appliances and check for faulty wiring or devices.
  • Restart the inverter after resolving the short circuit.

If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, contact customer support.
