Setup

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove the iron and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Inspect: Check the iron for any visible damage. Do not use if damaged.
  3. Voltage Selection: Locate the voltage selector switch (usually near the cord entry point). Using a coin or screwdriver, set the switch to the correct voltage for your region (110V or 220V). Failure to do so can damage the appliance.
  4. Fill Water Tank: Ensure the iron is unplugged. Open the water tank cover. Use the provided measuring cup to fill the water tank with distilled or demineralized water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill. Close the water tank cover securely.
  5. Positioning: Place the iron on a stable, heat-resistant ironing board or surface.

Operating Instructions

Dry Ironing

  1. Ensure the water tank is empty or the steam function is off.
  2. Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet.
  3. Set the temperature selector dial to the desired fabric setting (e.g., Silk, Wool, Cotton, Linen). Refer to garment care labels.
  4. Allow the iron to heat up. The indicator light will turn off when the set temperature is reached.
  5. Begin ironing.

Steam Ironing

  1. Ensure the water tank is filled as described in the Setup section.
  2. Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet.
  3. Set the temperature selector dial to a steam-appropriate setting (usually Cotton or Linen, indicated by steam symbols). Steam will not be generated at lower temperatures.
  4. Allow the iron to heat up until the indicator light turns off.
  5. Press the steam button to release continuous steam while ironing. For a burst of steam, press the button repeatedly.
  6. Use the spray button for stubborn wrinkles by directing a fine mist onto the fabric.

Folding the Handle for Storage

To fold the handle for compact storage, ensure the iron is cool and unplugged. Locate the 'PUSH' button near the base of the handle. Press and hold the button while gently folding the handle downwards until it locks into place.
