5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the radio.
2. Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet (230V).

5.2 Antenna Setup

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception.

5.3 Initial Setup and Wi-Fi Connection

1. Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through an initial setup wizard.
2. Select your preferred language.
3. The radio will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your network from the list.
4. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the navigation controls and confirm.
5. Once connected, the radio will synchronize the time and date.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off and Volume

• Press the POWER/MODE button to turn the radio on or off.
• Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust the sound level.

6.2 Internet Radio

1. Press MODE until "Internet Radio" is selected on the display.
2. Use the navigation buttons to browse stations by location, genre, or search.
3. Press OK/SCAN to select a station.

6.3 DAB+ Radio

1. Press MODE until "DAB+ Radio" is selected.
2. The radio will automatically scan for available DAB+ stations.
3. Use the navigation buttons to select a station from the list.

6.4 FM Radio

1. Press MODE until "FM Radio" is selected.
2. Press OK/SCAN to auto-scan for stations, or use TUNING+/- to manually tune.

1. Press MODE until "Bluetooth" is selected. The radio will enter pairing mode.
2. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for "Karcher DAB 7000i".
3. Select the radio to pair. Once connected, you can stream audio from your device.

6.6 USB Playback

1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port on the rear.
2. Press MODE until "USB" is selected.
3. Use the navigation buttons to browse and select tracks.

6.7 AUX Input

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX IN port using the supplied 3.5mm audio cable.
2. Press MODE until "AUX" is selected.
3. Control playback from your external device.

6.8 Alarm Clock and Sleep Timer

1. Press the ALARM button to set up dual alarms. Follow the on-screen prompts to set time, source (buzzer, radio), and volume.
2. To activate the sleep timer, press the SLEEP button (on remote) or navigate through the menu. Select the desired duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes).
3. Press SNOOZE when an alarm sounds to temporarily pause it.
