5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the DC IN port on the rear of the radio.
- Plug the power adapter into a suitable wall outlet (230V).
5.2 Antenna Setup
Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception.
5.3 Initial Setup and Wi-Fi Connection
- Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through an initial setup wizard.
- Select your preferred language.
- The radio will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your network from the list.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password using the navigation controls and confirm.
- Once connected, the radio will synchronize the time and date.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off and Volume
- Press the POWER/MODE button to turn the radio on or off.
- Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust the sound level.

- Press MODE until "Internet Radio" is selected on the display.
- Use the navigation buttons to browse stations by location, genre, or search.
- Press OK/SCAN to select a station.
6.3 DAB+ Radio

- The radio will automatically scan for available DAB+ stations.

6.4 FM Radio
- Press MODE until "FM Radio" is selected.
- Press OK/SCAN to auto-scan for stations, or use TUNING+/- to manually tune.

- Press MODE until "Bluetooth" is selected. The radio will enter pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for "Karcher DAB 7000i".
- Select the radio to pair. Once connected, you can stream audio from your device.
6.6 USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 files into the USB port on the rear.
- Press MODE until "USB" is selected.
- Use the navigation buttons to browse and select tracks.
6.7 AUX Input
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player) to the AUX IN port using the supplied 3.5mm audio cable.
- Press MODE until "AUX" is selected.
- Control playback from your external device.
6.8 Alarm Clock and Sleep Timer
- Press the ALARM button to set up dual alarms. Follow the on-screen prompts to set time, source (buzzer, radio), and volume.
