Operating Instructions
Live Stream
Access 1080p Full HD live streaming from anywhere in real-time using the Wyze App on your mobile device. This allows you to monitor your home remotely.
Motion and Sound Recording with Free Cloud Storage
The WYZE Cam v2 automatically records 12-second video clips when motion or sound is detected. These clips are securely uploaded to the Amazon AWS Cloud via end-to-end encryption and are accessible for 14 days, free of charge. Mobile push notifications can be enabled to alert you only when something is detected.
For continuous recording, use a MicroSD card (8GB, 16GB, or 32GB FAT32, sold separately). The camera will record continuously to the MicroSD card regardless of motion and sound events.
Night Vision
The camera is equipped with 4 infrared (IR) LEDs, providing night vision capabilities up to 30 feet in absolute darkness. Note that IR does not work effectively through glass windows.
Two-Way Audio
Utilize the two-way audio feature within the Wyze App to speak with individuals near the camera or listen to sounds in the camera's environment.
Voice Control
The WYZE Cam v2 works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant (US only). You can use voice commands to view the live stream from your camera on compatible devices.
Camera Sharing
Share access to your WYZE Cam with multiple family members. They can download the Wyze App and be invited to your account to view live streams and video recordings. Camera sharing permissions can be easily managed and removed.
