4. Assembly Instructions
Assembly is straightforward and typically requires one person. All necessary tools are included. Follow these steps carefully:

4.2. Step-by-Step Assembly
- Assemble the Trestle Frames:
Connect the short crossbars (Part 8) to the left trestle frame (Part 5) and right trestle frame (Part 6). Ensure the holes on the crossbars face upward. Use the 3cm Grup Screws (Part A) to secure these connections. Repeat for both trestle frames.

- Attach the Shelf Support Bar:
Connect the shelf support bar (Part 9) to the assembled trestle frames. Use the 3.5cm Grup Screws (Part C) to firmly attach it to the designated points on the frames.
- Install the Side Support Board:
Position the side support board (Part 2) between the two trestle frames. Secure it using the 5cm Pointed Screws (Part B) through the pre-drilled holes. This forms the back support for the shelving unit.
- Place the Shelf Boards:
Insert the upper shelf board (Part 3) and lower shelf board (Part 4) into their respective positions within the shelving unit. Ensure the holes on the frame are aligned for proper placement. These shelves can be installed on either the left or right side of the desk, offering reversible storage.

- Attach the Desktop Board:
Carefully place the desktop board (Part 1) onto the assembled frame. Align the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the desktop with the holes on the top of the trestle frames and the side support board. Use the 3cm Grup Screws (Part A) to secure the desktop firmly in place.
- Final Tightening:
Once all components are in place, gently tighten all screws using the provided Allen key. Do not overtighten, as this may damage the wood or strip the screws. Ensure the desk is stable and level.
5. Operating Instructions
The Soges Trestle Desk is designed for versatile use in home offices, student rooms, or other workspaces. Its primary function is to provide a stable surface for computers, writing, and other tasks, with integrated storage.
- Placement: Position the desk on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the desk for comfortable use and movement.
- Reversible Storage: The 2-tier open shelves can be configured on either the left or right side of the desk during assembly. This allows for customization based on your room layout and personal preference.
