Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to replace your Magic Bullet blender's blade and gasket:

  1. Unplug the Blender: Always ensure the Magic Bullet power base is unplugged from the electrical outlet before performing any maintenance or part replacement.
  2. Remove Old Blade: If an old blade assembly is present, unscrew it counter-clockwise from the blending cup.
  3. Inspect Gasket: Check the gasket ring on your new replacement blade. It should be securely seated within the groove of the blade assembly. If your kit included a separate gasket, carefully insert it into the groove on the new blade assembly. Ensure it is flat and not twisted.
  4. Attach New Blade: Place your ingredients into the blending cup. Align the new cross blade assembly with the top of the blending cup and screw it on clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure there are no gaps between the blade assembly and the cup.
  5. Ready for Use: The blending cup with the new blade assembly is now ready to be placed onto the Magic Bullet power base for operation.

Operating Instructions

Once the new blade assembly is installed, operate your Magic Bullet Blender as usual. The replacement blade is designed for various tasks:

  • Blending fruits and vegetables for smoothies and juices.
  • Pureeing ingredients for sauces, soups, and baby food.
  • Crushing ice for frozen drinks and cocktails.
  • Making nut butters and dressings.

For best results, do not overfill the blending cup beyond the MAX line. Use short pulses for tougher ingredients to avoid motor strain.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your replacement blade and gasket:

  • Immediate Cleaning: Clean the blade assembly immediately after each use to prevent food residue from drying and hardening.
  • Dishwasher Safe: The cross blade assembly is dishwasher safe. Place it on the top rack of your dishwasher.
  • Hand Washing: For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a brush to clean around the blades. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Gasket Care: Periodically remove the gasket ring from the blade assembly for a more thorough cleaning. Use a small, non-sharp tool (like a toothpick) to gently pry it out. Wash the gasket separately with warm, soapy water, rinse, and ensure it is completely dry before reinserting it into the blade assembly. Ensure it is seated correctly to prevent leaks.
  • Storage: Store the blade assembly in a dry place when not in use.
