  1. Place the empty container on the pan.
  2. Press the TARE button. The display will return to "0.0000g".
  3. Add the substance to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the substance.

2.3 Unit Conversion

The balance supports multiple weighing units (g, mg, ct, oz). To change the unit, press the UNIT or MODE button (refer to specific button labels on your device) repeatedly until the desired unit is displayed.

2.4 Calibration

Regular calibration ensures accuracy. It is recommended to calibrate the balance before critical measurements or if the balance has been moved. Use the provided certificated calibration weight.

  1. Ensure the balance is level and stable.
  2. Press and hold the CAL button until "CAL" appears on the display.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts. The balance will likely ask for a specific calibration weight (e.g., "100g").
  4. Carefully place the specified calibration weight onto the center of the pan.
  5. Wait for the balance to complete the calibration process and display "PASS" or return to weighing mode.
  6. Remove the calibration weight.

2.5 Parts Counting Function

This function allows for accurate counting of small, uniform items.

  1. Place a known quantity of items (e.g., 10, 20, 50 pieces) on the pan.
  2. Press the PCS or COUNT button (refer to specific button labels).
  3. The display will prompt you to select the sample size (e.g., P10, P20, P50). Use the arrow keys or other designated buttons to select the correct sample size.
  4. Confirm the sample size. The balance will calculate the average piece weight.
  5. Add more items to the pan, and the display will show the total count.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain accuracy and extends the life of the balance.

  • Always disconnect the power adapter before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent to clean the exterior surfaces.
  • For the stainless steel pan, it can be removed and washed separately. Ensure it is completely dry before re-placing it.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the balance in water.
  • Keep the weighing chamber and display free from dust and spills.

3.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the balance in a clean, dry, and stable environment. It is recommended to keep the glass windshield assembled to protect the weighing mechanism.

4. Troubleshooting
