3.1 Remote Start Activation

To activate the remote start function, use your vehicle's existing factory key fob. Press the Lock button three (3) times consecutively. The vehicle's engine will start, and the doors will remain locked.

The vehicle will run for a preset duration (typically 15 minutes) or until the remote start sequence is cancelled.

3.2 Entering the Vehicle After Remote Start

Once the engine is running via remote start:

  1. Unlock the vehicle doors using your factory key fob.
  2. Enter the vehicle.
  3. Insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" or "RUN" position (do not turn to "START" as the engine is already running).
  4. The remote start system will disengage, and the vehicle will transfer control to the key. You are now ready to drive.

3.3 Cancelling Remote Start

To cancel the remote start before the preset run time expires, simply press the Lock button three (3) times consecutively on your factory key fob again, or insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position.

3.4 Available Options (Additional Cost)

The MPC Remote Start Kit is compatible with several optional add-ons to enhance functionality:
