4. Setup and Unfolding
To prepare the wheelchair for use, follow these steps:
- Place the folded wheelchair on a flat, stable surface.
- Gently pull the armrests outwards to begin unfolding the frame.
- Push down firmly on the seat rails until the seat is fully flat and locked into position.
- Ensure all components are securely locked before placing a user in the chair.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Seating the User
Ensure the wheelchair is fully unfolded and the brakes are engaged before assisting a user into the seat. Fasten the widened seat belt for safety and comfort.

5.2 Using the Brakes
The wheelchair is equipped with both hand brakes for the caregiver and foot brakes for parking.
- Hand Brakes: Located on the push handles, these allow the caregiver to control speed and stop the wheelchair. Squeeze the levers to engage the brakes.
- Foot Brakes: For parking, step on the foot brake levers located near the rear wheels on both sides. Ensure both are engaged when the wheelchair is stationary.

5.3 Footrests
The footrests are flippable for easy access and can be adjusted for user comfort. Ensure the user's feet are securely placed on the footrests during transport.

5.4 Maneuvering

6. Folding and Storage
To fold the wheelchair for transport or storage:
- Ensure the user is out of the wheelchair and the footrests are flipped up.
- Pull up on the center of the seat fabric to begin collapsing the frame.
- Push the armrests inwards until the wheelchair is fully folded.
- The compact design allows it to fit easily into car trunks or small storage spaces.
