The remote control provides access to most of the original commands for your device. Key functions include:
- Power On/Off: Use the Power button (red button) to turn your device on or off.
- Menu Navigation: The directional arrow buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right) and the OK button in the center allow you to navigate through menus and confirm selections.
- Input Signal Selection: The SRC (Source) button allows you to cycle through available input sources on your device.
- Volume Control: Use the V+ and V- buttons to adjust the volume.
- Channel/Track Control: Use the CH+ and CH- buttons (if applicable) to change channels or tracks.
Indicator Light
An ON indicator light illuminates after any active button on the remote has been pressed. This indicates that the remote is functioning correctly and sending an infrared (IR) signal to your device. If the indicator light does not illuminate, check the batteries.
Specific Functions and Limitations
While this remote provides most original commands, some specific functions may not work properly with all devices. These can include, but are not limited to, page flip, keystone correction, video adjustment, and certain numerical inputs. This remote does not include a laser pointer function.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain the remote control's appearance and functionality:
- Wipe the remote with a soft, dry cloth.
- For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaning pads, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.
Battery Replacement
Replace the batteries when the remote's performance degrades or the indicator light fails to illuminate consistently. Always replace both AAA batteries at the same time with new ones. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
