4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Battery

Before initial use, fully charge the camera's built-in 3000mAh lithium battery. Connect the camera to the power adapter using the provided USB cable. A full charge typically takes approximately 4 hours. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status and completion.

4.2 Attaching the Clips

The BOBLOV HD31-G comes with two types of clips for secure attachment:

  • Short Clip: Ideal for attaching the camera to pockets, lapels, or other thin edges.
  • Long Clip: Suitable for securing the camera to belts, uniform straps, or thicker garments.

To attach a clip, align it with the slot on the back of the camera and slide it into place until it clicks securely. Ensure the camera is firmly attached before use.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the screen illuminates.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the device shuts down.

5.2 Video Recording

To start video recording, press the dedicated Video Record button. The recording indicator will typically flash, and a timer will appear on the screen. Press the Video Record button again to stop recording. Videos are saved in MOV H.264 format.

5.3 Taking Photos

To capture a still image, press the Photo button. The camera will take a picture, and a shutter sound may be heard. Photos are saved in JPEG format.

5.4 Audio Recording

The camera supports standalone audio recording. Press the Audio Record button to start recording audio. Press it again to stop. Audio files are saved in MP3 format.

5.5 Night Vision

The BOBLOV HD31-G features an automatic IR night vision function. In low-light or dark environments, the infrared LEDs will activate automatically to ensure clear video capture. The night vision range is up to 7 meters (23 feet).
