2. Product Overview
The SriHome SH020 is a 1080P HD IP camera designed for both indoor and outdoor security monitoring. It features Wi-Fi connectivity, infrared night vision, and two-way audio communication. Its rotatable lens allows for wide area coverage with pan and tilt control.

4. Setup Guide
4.1 Initial Connection (Wired)
- Power On: Connect the power adapter to the camera and plug it into a power outlet. The camera will power on and perform a self-test.
- Connect to Router: Use the provided Ethernet cable to connect the camera's RJ45 port to a LAN port on your Wi-Fi router.
- Download App: Scan the QR code in the printed user manual or search for "Sricam" in your smartphone's app store (iOS/Android) to download the official application.
- Register Account: Open the Sricam app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new account using your email and password.
- Add Camera: In the app, select "Add Device" or the '+' icon. Choose "Wired Connection" or "Scan QR Code" (if available on the camera body). Enter the camera's ID and password (usually found on a sticker on the camera).
- Verify Connection: Once added, the camera's live feed should appear in the app.
4.2 Wi-Fi Connection
After initial wired setup, you can configure Wi-Fi for wireless operation.
- Access Wi-Fi Settings: In the Sricam app, go to the camera's settings. Look for "Network Settings" or "Wi-Fi Settings".
- Select Network: The app will scan for available 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Select your home Wi-Fi network. Note: This camera does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
- Enter Password: Input your Wi-Fi network password.
- Connect: Confirm the settings. The camera will attempt to connect to the Wi-Fi network. Once connected, you can disconnect the Ethernet cable.
- Placement: Place the camera in your desired location, ensuring it is within range of your Wi-Fi signal.
4.3 Micro SD Card Installation
To enable local video recording, install a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included).
- Power Off: Disconnect the camera from power before installing the Micro SD card.
- Locate Slot: The Micro SD card slot is typically located on the side or bottom of the camera, often under a protective cover.
- Insert Card: Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- Power On: Reconnect power to the camera.
- Format Card: In the Sricam app, go to camera settings and find "Storage Settings" or "SD Card Settings". Format the Micro SD card for optimal performance. This will erase all data on the card.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Live View and Pan/Tilt Control
- Open the Sricam app and select your camera from the device list to view the live feed.
- Use the directional controls (joystick icon) on the app screen to pan (horizontal rotation up to 355°) and tilt (vertical rotation up to 90°) the camera lens.
- Pinch to zoom in/out on the live video feed.
5.2 Two-Way Audio
- While in live view, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker. Release to listen.
- Ensure your phone's microphone is enabled for the Sricam app.
5.3 Recording Modes
The camera supports various recording modes:
- Manual Recording: Start and stop recording directly from the app's live view screen.
- Alarm Recording: Automatically records when motion is detected. Configure this in "Alarm Settings".
- Timed Recording: Set specific schedules for continuous recording. Configure this in "Recording Settings".
Recorded videos are saved to the Micro SD card and can be accessed for remote playback via the Sricam app.
5.4 Motion Detection and Alarms
Configure motion detection and alarm notifications in the Sricam app:
- Go to "Alarm Settings" in the camera's settings.
- Enable motion detection. You can adjust sensitivity levels.
- Set up alarm actions:
- Email Alarm: Enter your email address to receive notification emails with snapshots.
- Phone Push Alarm: Receive push notifications on your smartphone.
- Buzzer Alarm: The camera will emit a siren sound.
- Ensure the camera is connected to the internet for email and push notifications.
5.5 Night Vision
The camera automatically switches to infrared night vision mode in low light conditions. The 10 IR-LEDs provide clear black and white video up to 10 meters.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Sricam app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Network Stability: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is stable and strong for uninterrupted camera operation.
- SD Card Management: Regularly back up important recordings from the Micro SD card. Format the SD card periodically to maintain performance.
- Environmental Conditions: While suitable for outdoor use, avoid direct exposure to extreme weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, snow, direct sunlight for prolonged periods) to prolong the camera's lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
