2. Important Safety Information

2.1 General Safety Precautions

  • Outdoor Use Only: This appliance is designed for outdoor use only. Do not operate indoors or in enclosed spaces.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation when operating.
  • Clearance: Maintain a safe distance from combustible materials (walls, furniture, trees, etc.).
  • Stable Surface: Always operate the grill burner on a firm, level, non-combustible surface.

2.2 Fuel Safety

  • Correct Fuel Type: Use only Snow Peak Giga Power Gas canisters (GP-500GR, GP-250GR, GP-500SR, GP-250SR) with this appliance.
  • Secure Connection: Ensure the gas canister is securely connected before ignition. Check for leaks using a soapy water solution.
  • Storage: Store gas canisters in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

2.3 Carbon Monoxide Hazard

This appliance produces carbon monoxide, which has no odor. Using it in an enclosed space can kill you. Never use this appliance in an enclosed space such as a camper, tent, car, or home.

4. Setup and Assembly

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage. If any parts are damaged or missing, do not proceed with assembly and contact customer support.

4.2 Assembling the Grill Burner

  1. Place the main grill burner body on a stable, level surface.
  2. Insert the water plate into the designated slot beneath the burner. This collects grease and drippings.
  3. Place the cast iron griddle securely on top of the burner unit.
  4. Connect the fuel hose to the burner unit's gas inlet. Ensure it is tightened by hand until snug.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Connecting Fuel

Ensure the control knob on the burner is in the OFF position. Connect the fixture plug of the fuel hose to a compatible Snow Peak Giga Power Gas canister (GP-500GR, GP-250GR, GP-500SR, or GP-250SR). Twist firmly until a secure connection is made. Do not overtighten.

5.2 Ignition

  1. Slowly turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the IGNITE position to release a small amount of gas.
  2. Immediately apply a flame from a long lighter or match to the burner head.
  3. Once ignited, continue to turn the control knob to the desired flame height.

5.3 Temperature Control

Adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob. Turn clockwise to decrease the flame and counter-clockwise to increase it. The cast iron griddle retains heat efficiently for consistent cooking.

5.4 Shutting Down

  1. Turn the control knob fully clockwise to the OFF position.
  2. Allow the burner and griddle to cool completely before disconnecting the gas canister or moving the unit.
  3. Once cool, disconnect the fuel hose from the gas canister.

6. Maintenance and Care

6.1 Cleaning

  • Griddle: After the griddle has cooled, scrape off any large food debris. Wash with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For cast iron, ensure it is thoroughly dried to prevent rust.
  • Water Plate: Remove the water plate and empty any collected drippings. Wash with warm soapy water.
  • Body: Wipe the stainless steel body with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads.

6.2 Storage
