4. Setup

4.1 Placement

Alternatively, you can wall-mount the soundbar using the included wall mount bracket. Refer to the separate wall-mount template for detailed instructions.

4.2 Connections

HDMI ARC Connection (Recommended)

  1. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI ARC port on your soundbar.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on your television.
  3. Ensure HDMI ARC is enabled in your TV's audio settings.

Optical Connection

  1. Connect the included optical cable to the OPTICAL port on your soundbar.
  2. Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical digital audio output port on your television or other audio source.

Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cord to the DC IN port on the soundbar.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Press the Power button on the soundbar's top panel or on the remote control to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Audio Input Selection

  • Press the Source button on the soundbar's top panel or the remote control to cycle through available input sources: HDMI ARC, Optical, and Bluetooth.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

To stream audio wirelessly from your Bluetooth-enabled device:

  1. Press the Bluetooth button on the remote control or select Bluetooth input using the Source button on the soundbar. The Bluetooth indicator will blink.
  2. On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "JBL Bar 2.0" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will glow solid. You can now play audio from your device through the soundbar.

5.4 TV Remote Control Operation

The JBL Bar 2.0 is designed to work with your existing TV remote control for basic functions like power, volume up/down, and mute. This feature is typically automatic when connected via HDMI ARC.
