Setup

1. Initial Opening and Battery Installation

  1. Locate the emergency keyhole, usually hidden behind a small cover on the keypad panel.
  2. Insert one of the provided emergency keys into the keyhole and turn it clockwise.
  3. While holding the key turned, rotate the knob on the keypad counter-clockwise to open the safe door.
  4. Open the safe door. Inside the door, locate the battery compartment.
  5. Open the battery compartment cover and insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  6. Close the battery compartment cover.
  7. Close the safe door and turn the knob clockwise to lock it. Remove the emergency key and store it in a safe place outside the safe.

2. Mounting the Safe

The safe is designed for wall mounting to enhance security. It comes with two mounting bolts.

  1. Choose a suitable location for mounting, preferably a solid wall or a secure, hidden spot.
  2. Mark the drilling points on the wall using the pre-drilled holes on the back of the safe as a template.
  3. Drill holes at the marked points.
  4. Align the safe with the drilled holes and insert the mounting bolts.
  5. Tighten the bolts securely to fix the safe firmly to the wall.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting Your Personal Code

  1. With the safe door open, press the red reset button located on the inside of the door, near the hinge. You will hear a beep and the yellow light on the keypad will illuminate.
  2. Enter your new personal code (3-8 digits) on the keypad.
  3. Press the "E" or "#" button to confirm. The yellow light will turn off, indicating the code has been successfully set.
  4. Test your new code with the door open before closing it.

2. Opening the Safe with Your Code

  1. Enter your personal code on the keypad.
  2. Press the "E" or "#" button to confirm. The green light will illuminate.
  3. Within 5 seconds, turn the knob clockwise to open the safe door.

3. Locking the Safe

  1. Close the safe door.
  2. Turn the knob counter-clockwise to engage the locking bolts. The safe is now locked.

4. Emergency Opening

In case you forget your code or the batteries run out, you can use the emergency key:

  1. Locate the emergency keyhole (behind the cover on the keypad).
  2. Insert the emergency key and turn it clockwise.
  3. While holding the key turned, rotate the knob counter-clockwise to open the safe door.
