Setup
1. Power Connection
- Connect the provided power adapter to the DC IN port on the back of the alarm clock.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet (100-240V AC, 50-60Hz).
- The appliance has no on/off switch. To disconnect the appliance from the power source, remove the plug from the wall outlet.
2. Battery Backup (Not Included)
The unit requires one CR2032 flat lithium battery (3V) for battery backup. This battery is not included and is used solely for setting memory during power outages, not for powering the device.
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert one CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3. Initial Time Setting
Upon initial power-up or after a power outage (if battery backup is not installed or depleted), the display will flash. Follow these steps to set the time:
- Press and hold the TIME SET button (refer to product overview image for button location). The hour digits will begin to flash.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the hour. Pay attention to the PM indicator if setting a 12-hour format.
- Press TIME SET again to confirm the hour. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press TIME SET a third time to confirm the minutes and exit time setting mode.
Operating Instructions
1. Time Display Brightness (Dimmer)
The LED display has 2 adjustable brightness levels. Press the DIMMER button (often combined with SNOOZE/SLEEP) repeatedly to cycle through the brightness settings (High, Low, Off).
2. 12/24 Hour Display Format
To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, press the 12/24H button (often combined with another function button) during normal time display. The PM indicator will illuminate for PM hours in 12-hour format.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
The device is compatible with Bluetooth V4.1, allowing wireless audio streaming from compatible devices up to 30 feet away.
- Press the MODE button to select Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth indicator (BT) on the display will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Memorex MC3533" (or similar name) from the list of found devices.
- Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing and remain solid. You can now play audio wirelessly through the alarm clock's speaker.
4. FM Radio Operation
The built-in FM radio operates within the 87.5MHz-108MHz frequency range. For better signal reception, position the unit near a window and straighten the power cord, which acts as an antenna.
- Press the MODE button to select FM radio mode. The FM indicator will illuminate.
- Auto Scan: Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE button (or a dedicated scan button) to automatically scan and save available FM stations. The unit can preset up to 10 radio channels.
- Manual Tuning: Use the PREV/NEXT buttons to manually tune to a desired frequency.
- Recall Presets: Use the PRESET button (or similar) to cycle through saved stations.
5. Setting Alarms (Dual Alarm)
The device features two independent alarms (AL.1 and AL.2).
- Press and hold the AL.1 button. The alarm hour digits will flash.
- Use the +/- buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press AL.1 again to confirm the hour. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the +/- buttons to set the desired alarm minutes.
- Press AL.1 a third time to confirm the minutes. The display will then show options for alarm source (Buzzer or FM Radio) and volume.
- Use the +/- buttons to select the alarm source and volume.
- Press AL.1 one last time to save the settings and activate Alarm 1. The AL.1 indicator will light up.
- Repeat the process for AL.2 to set the second alarm.
- To disable an alarm, press the corresponding AL.1 or AL.2 button until its indicator light turns off.

6. Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (often combined with SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIM) to temporarily silence the alarm for a few minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period ends.
7. Sleep Timer
The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to music or radio, which will automatically turn off after a set duration.
- While playing audio (Bluetooth, FM, or AUX), press the SLEEP button (often combined with SNOOZE/SLEEP/DIM) repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
- The selected duration will be displayed briefly. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
8. Night Light Operation
The device features a 7-color changing LED night light.
- Press the LIGHT button to turn on the night light.
- Press the LIGHT button repeatedly to cycle through different colors or a color-changing mode.
- Press and hold the LIGHT button to turn off the night light.

9. USB Charging Port
The integrated USB charging port allows you to charge your mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) while the alarm clock is powered.
- Connect your mobile device's USB charging cable to the USB port on the back of the alarm clock.
- Connect the other end of the cable to your mobile device.
- The device will begin charging. Output: 5V DC, 1500mA.

10. AUX-in Mode
Connect external audio devices using the provided 3.5mm AUX-in cable.
- Connect one end of the AUX-in cable to the AUX-in port on the back of the alarm clock.
- Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
- Press the MODE button to select AUX-in mode. The AUX indicator will illuminate.
- Control playback and volume from your external device.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
