1. Introduction

The Muvit I/O Smart Plug (Model: MIOSMP002) is a device designed to integrate your electrical appliances into a smart home system. It features Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing for remote control of connected devices from anywhere. Additionally, it includes a power monitor to track energy consumption.

• Power Button/Indicator Light: Used to manually turn the plug on/off and indicates connection status.
• Power Socket: Where you plug in your appliance.

5. Setup

Follow these steps for initial setup of your Muvit I/O Smart Plug:

1. Download the App: Scan the QR code on the product packaging or visit the official app download page to install the Muvit I/O smart home application on your smartphone or tablet.

2. Plug In the Smart Plug: Insert the Muvit I/O Smart Plug into a standard wall outlet. The indicator light on the plug should begin to blink, indicating it is in pairing mode.
3. Add Device in App: Open the Muvit I/O app, create an account if you haven't already, and follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. Select the Smart Plug from the device list.
4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password when prompted by the app. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
5. Pairing: The app will guide you through the pairing process. Once successfully paired, the indicator light on the smart plug will turn solid, and the device will appear in your app.

6. Operating

Once set up, you can control your Muvit I/O Smart Plug in several ways:

6.1. Manual Control

Press the physical button on the front of the smart plug to manually turn the connected appliance on or off. The indicator light will change state (e.g., from off to solid blue) to reflect the power status.

6.2. App Control

Use the Muvit I/O app to control the smart plug remotely:

• Remote ON/OFF: Tap the power icon next to the smart plug in the app to turn it on or off from anywhere with an internet connection.
• Scheduling: Set schedules or timers for the smart plug to automatically turn on or off at specific times.
• Energy Monitoring: Access the energy monitoring feature within the app to view real-time power consumption and historical data of the connected appliance.
• Scene Creation: Group the smart plug with other smart devices to create custom scenes for automated control.

7. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Muvit I/O Smart Plug:

• Cleaning: Disconnect the smart plug from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
• Storage: If not in use for an extended period, store the smart plug in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Muvit I/O app for available firmware updates for your smart plug. Updates can improve performance and add new features.
