Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging inlet and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The red LED will flash during charging and turn off when fully charged. Charging time is approximately 1 hour.

2. Powering On/Off

Long press the Power Switch Key () for approximately 3 seconds to power the speaker on or off. A blue LED will flash when powered on and ready for pairing.

3. Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and the blue LED is flashing, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "MANTO-Cuckoo" from the list of devices.
  4. Once connected, the blue LED on the speaker will become solid.
  5. The speaker will automatically connect to the last paired device when powered on, if available.

4. Micro SD Card Playback

The speaker supports direct playback from a Micro SD card (not included).

  1. Insert a Micro SD card (up to 32GB capacity) into the Micro SD card slot.
  2. Ensure the card contains MP3 files. FAT32 format is recommended for the Micro SD card.
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to Micro SD card mode and begin playing music. If not, short press the "M" key to switch modes.

To conserve battery, the speaker will automatically power off after 30 minutes of inactivity (no audio playback or Bluetooth connection).

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible Solution
Speaker does not power on.Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the USB cable.
Cannot pair via Bluetooth.
  • Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing blue LED).
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  • Move the speaker closer to your device (within 26 ft / 8 meters).
  • Long press the "M" key on the speaker to reset the Bluetooth connection, then try pairing again.
  • Clear the speaker from your device's Bluetooth list and re-pair.
No sound or low volume.
  • Increase the volume on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the speaker is properly connected via Bluetooth or Micro SD card.
  • Check if the audio source is playing.
Micro SD card not playing.
  • Ensure the Micro SD card is inserted correctly.
  • Verify that the card contains MP3 files and is formatted to FAT32.
  • Short press the "M" key to switch to Micro SD card mode.
Speaker is unresponsive.If the speaker freezes or crashes, locate the reset button (often a small pinhole) and press and hold it to restore factory settings. (Refer to the detailed diagram in the Product Overview section for location).
