Operating Instructions
1. Ringtone and Volume Adjustment
- Ringtone Selection: Press the 'Melody' button (often indicated by a musical note icon) on the doorbell unit to cycle through the 6 available ringtones.
- Volume Control: Press the 'Volume' button (often indicated by a speaker icon) to adjust the sound level. Multiple levels are available, including a silent mode.
- Customizable Ringtones: You can assign a different ringtone to each paired transmitter to easily distinguish between multiple entry points. Follow the pairing instructions, selecting the desired melody before confirming the pairing.
2. Flash Function
When the doorbell is pressed, the unit will emit a visual flash in addition to the selected chime. This feature is particularly useful in noisy environments or for individuals with hearing impairments. In silent mode, the flash function serves as the primary notification.
3. Low Power Alert
The doorbell unit is equipped with a low power alert feature. When the batteries in either the doorbell unit or a paired transmitter are running low, the unit will provide a specific visual or auditory indication (e.g., a unique flash pattern or a short beep) to prompt battery replacement.
4. System Expansion
The EXTEL diBi Flash system is an expandable platform. You can connect up to 4 doorbell units and 4 transmitters (such as additional call buttons, motion detectors, or opening detectors for doors/windows) to create a comprehensive notification system for your property.
