4. Setup and Installation

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Unlocking the Device
The timer automatically locks after 15 seconds of inactivity to prevent accidental changes. To unlock the device and enable button functions:
- Press the C/R button four times consecutively.
- The 'a' character in the lower-left corner of the display will disappear, indicating the device is unlocked.
To manually lock the device, press the C/R button four times again.
5.2 Setting Current Time and Day
Before programming, set the current time and day:
- Press D+ to set the current day of the week.
- Press H+ to set the current hour.
- Press M+ to set the current minute.
The timer defaults to 24-hour mode. To switch between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour modes, press and hold the P button for 5 seconds. The display will show "AM" for 12-hour mode.
5.3 Programming ON/OFF Cycles
The timer supports up to 16 ON/OFF program settings. Follow these steps to set a program:
- Press P once. The display will show "1 ON".

- Press H+ to set the OFF hour.
- Press M+ to set the OFF minute.
- Repeat steps 1-7 for additional ON/OFF programs (up to 16).
- After setting all desired programs, press P to exit programming mode.
To cancel a specific program, navigate to that program number (e.g., "1 ON") and press the MANUAL C/R button. The display will show "--:--" to indicate the program is canceled. Press MANUAL C/R again to restore the program.
If you do not need all 16 programs, press the C/R button repeatedly until you exit programming mode.
5.4 Manual Override
The MANUAL C/R button also allows you to manually override the programmed settings. Pressing it cycles through ON, AUTO, and OFF modes:
- ON: The output is continuously ON, overriding all programs.
- AUTO: The timer operates according to the programmed ON/OFF cycles.
- OFF: The output is continuously OFF, overriding all programs.
