Setup
1. Connecting to Your TV
- Ensure your TV is turned off.
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI OUT port on the Blu-Ray player.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an HDMI IN port on your 4K UHD TV.
- Connect the power adapter to the Blu-Ray player and then plug it into a wall outlet.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries into the remote control.
2. Network Connection
The UBD-M7500/ZA supports a wired internet connection for accessing streaming apps and firmware updates.
- Connect an Ethernet cable from your router or modem to the LAN port on the back of the Blu-Ray player.
- Once connected, navigate to the network settings on the player to confirm the connection and perform any necessary setup.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On and Off
- Press the Power button on the front of the player or on the remote control to turn the unit on or off.
2. Disc Playback
- Press the Eject button on the front of the player or on the remote control to open the disc tray.
- Place a 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray disc or standard Blu-Ray/DVD disc onto the tray with the label side facing up.
- Press the Eject button again to close the tray. The player will automatically begin playback or display a menu.
- Use the remote control's navigation buttons to control playback (Play, Pause, Stop, Skip).
3. Smart Hub and Streaming
The Samsung UBD-M7500/ZA features the Samsung Smart Hub, allowing access to various streaming applications.
- Ensure the player is connected to the internet via a wired connection.
- Press the Smart Hub button on your remote control to access the Smart Hub interface.
- Navigate through the available apps and select your desired streaming service.
4. 4K UHD and HDR Content
This player is designed to deliver an enhanced viewing experience with 4K Ultra HD resolution and High Dynamic Range (HDR) content.
- For 4K UHD playback, a compatible 4K UHD TV is required.
