Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation. It is recommended to have a qualified electrician perform the installation.

Installation Steps:
- Turn off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Attach Mounting Strap: Secure the mounting strap to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.

- Connect the ground (green or bare copper) wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box.

- Mount the Fixture: Carefully align the wall sconce with the mounting strap and secure it using the remaining screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall.

- Restore Power: Once the installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.
Operating Instructions
The Lightess HS521-1 wall sconce features integrated LED lighting and is dimmable.
- Turning On/Off: Use your standard wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
- Dimming Function: This fixture is dimmable. To utilize the dimming feature, you must have a compatible external dimmer switch installed (not included). Adjust the dimmer switch to achieve your desired brightness level. If no dimmer switch is present, the light will operate at full brightness.
