Troubleshooting
Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues
If your camera is experiencing connectivity problems, ensure it is within range of your Wi-Fi router. The Arlo app provides a signal strength indicator to help you find the optimal placement. The Arlo Pro 2 supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
Excessive Notifications
If you are receiving too many motion alerts, adjust the motion sensitivity settings in the Arlo app. For cameras used indoors and plugged in, utilize Activity Zones to focus motion detection on specific areas and ignore irrelevant movements.
Poor Night Vision Quality
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from obstructions. For optimal night vision, avoid placing the camera directly facing strong light sources that could cause glare. If using color night vision, ensure the camera is plugged in and the spotlight feature is enabled.
