Setup
- Unpacking and Placement: Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Place it on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area.
- Power Connection: Connect the machine to a 115 VAC 60 Hz power source. Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded.
- Hose Connections: Connect the 9 ft service hoses to the appropriate high-pressure (red) and low-pressure (blue) ports on the machine.
- Internal Cylinder: Verify the 30 lb DOT internal cylinder is correctly installed and connected within the machine.
- Filter-Drier: Ensure the 330 lb spin-on filter-drier is securely in place.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Turn on the main power switch of the machine.
- Refrigerant Identification: The integrated refrigerant identifier will sample the refrigerant in the vehicle's A/C system prior to recovery to ensure it is R-1234yf.
- Automatic Operation: The AC1234-4 features fully automatic operation. Program the desired service (recovery, recycling, recharging) and the machine will execute the process, including automatic internal tank refill, oil drain, and air purge.
- Programmable Vacuum: Utilize the programmable vacuum operation to achieve the necessary vacuum level efficiently.
- System Leak Test: An integrated system leak test identifies gross leaks before charging, ensuring the system holds the refrigerant charge.
- Liquid Refrigerant Flushing: Use the liquid refrigerant flushing function to clean A/C systems or individual components.

Maintenance
- Filter-Drier Replacement: The machine will prompt for filter-drier replacement when approximately 1/3 of its life remains. Replace the 330 lb spin-on filter-drier as indicated.
- Automatic Oil Drain: The machine includes an automatic oil drain function. Regularly check the drained oil for contamination.
- Automatic Air Purge: The automatic air purge function removes non-condensable gases from the internal tank.
- Hose Inspection: Periodically inspect the 9 ft hoses for any signs of wear, damage, or leaks. Replace if necessary.
Troubleshooting
For specific error codes or operational issues not covered in the general instructions, refer to the detailed troubleshooting section in the full product manual. Common issues may include low refrigerant levels in the internal tank, system leaks, or connectivity problems if optional kits are installed.
- Low Refrigerant in Internal Tank: The machine features automatic internal tank refill. Ensure an external refrigerant supply is connected if the internal tank is low.
- System Leak Detected: If the integrated system leak test fails, identify and repair the leak in the vehicle's A/C system before proceeding with charging.
- Connectivity Issues (Optional): If Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity is enabled with optional kits (80211TMP or 80211VCI), ensure proper installation and network configuration.
