Safety Information

WARNING:

  • This product may emit formaldehyde, a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Follow manufacturer instructions for use and handling.
  • Always ensure the TV stand is placed on a level, stable surface.
  • Do not overload the TV stand. The top surface can hold up to a 70" flat-paneled TV with a maximum weight of 120 lbs. Lower shelves have a maximum weight capacity of 20 lbs each.
  • Keep flammable materials away from the fireplace insert.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the fireplace insert to prevent overheating.
  • The fireplace insert is CSA certified with overheat protection and auto shutoff features.

The TV console with fireplace ships in one box. Two adults are recommended for assembly due to the weight and size of the components.

Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Ameriwood Home Lumina Fireplace TV Stand requires two adults. A screwdriver is required (not included). All other necessary hardware is provided.

  1. Unpack and Organize: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Verify all parts against the included parts list.
  2. Assemble the TV Stand Frame: Follow the step-by-step diagrams in the assembly guide to construct the main frame of the TV stand. Pay close attention to the orientation of each piece.
  3. Install Glass Shelves: Insert the tempered glass shelves into the designated slots on the side compartments. The shelves are adjustable.
  4. Prepare Fireplace Insert: Before inserting the fireplace into the stand, place the acrylic crystal embers into the fireplace insert as per the fireplace manual. This step is easier to complete before the insert is fully secured.
  5. Insert Fireplace: Carefully slide the 23" electric fireplace insert into the central opening of the TV stand. Secure it according to the assembly instructions.
  6. Install LED Lights: The LED light strips for the side shelves have pre-drilled holes. Screw them into the top of the TV stand's side compartments. These lights plug into the side of the fireplace insert.
  7. Final Placement: Once assembled, position the TV stand on a level surface. Ensure adequate space for ventilation around the fireplace.

Operating Instructions

The electric fireplace insert and LED side lights offer various settings for ambiance and heating.

Electric Fireplace Insert

The 23" fireplace insert features AltraFlame™ patented technology for a realistic flame effect. It can be operated with or without heat.

  • Power: Use the power button on the fireplace touchpad or remote to turn the unit on/off.
  • Heat Function: The heater provides 4600 BTUs and can warm a room up to 400 sq. ft. Press the heat button on the remote or touchpad to activate/deactivate heating.
  • Thermostat: Adjust the temperature between 64°F and 82°F using the remote or touchpad.
  • Flame Brightness: Choose from 4 brightness levels for the flame effect.
  • Flame and Ember Colors: Select from 7 different flame and ember color combinations.
  • Timer Function: Set a timer for the fireplace to automatically shut off, up to 6 hours.

Side Shelf LED Lights

The side shelves are illuminated with LED lights that can be controlled independently or in conjunction with the fireplace flames.

  • Color Changing: The LED lights offer 7 different color options to match your preference or the fireplace flame color.
  • Control: Use the remote control to adjust the color and brightness of the side shelf lights.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the surfaces of the TV stand with a dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
  • Fireplace Insert: The tempered glass front of the fireplace insert stays cool to the touch. Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Do not spray liquids directly onto the insert.
  • Bulb Replacement: The fireplace insert has a long lifespan of 50,000 hours. Replacement inserts can be ordered if needed.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Fireplace does not turn on. No power, loose connection, remote batteries dead. Ensure the unit is plugged into a working outlet. Check all connections. Replace AAA batteries in the remote control.
No heat output. Heat function not activated, thermostat set too low, overheat protection activated. Activate the heat function via remote or touchpad. Increase thermostat setting. If overheat protection activated, unplug the unit, wait 10-15 minutes, then plug back in.
Flames are not visible or dim. Flame brightness set too low, flame function not activated. Adjust flame brightness settings. Ensure the flame function is turned on.
LED side lights not working. Loose connection to fireplace insert, lights turned off. Check the connection of the LED strips to the fireplace insert. Ensure lights are turned on via the remote.
