4. Setup
Follow these steps to prepare your lawn mower for first use:
- Unfolding the Handle: Release the handle locks on both sides of the mower. Carefully raise the handle until it clicks into place. Ensure both sides are securely locked.
- Battery Installation: Open the battery compartment cover. Insert the fully charged 56V 7.5Ah ARC Lithium battery into the compartment until it clicks. Close the cover securely.
- Grass Collection/Mulching/Side Discharge:
- For grass collection, attach the grass bag to the rear discharge opening.
- For mulching, ensure the mulching plug is securely inserted into the rear discharge opening.
- For side discharge, remove the mulching plug (if installed) and attach the side discharge chute.
- Height Adjustment: Use the single-handed height adjustment lever located on the side of the mower deck to select your desired cutting height (1.5" - 4").

5. Operating Instructions
Ensure the mower is set up correctly and the battery is fully charged before operation.
- Starting the Mower: Press and hold the safety button on the handle, then pull the bail switch lever towards the handle. The mower blades will begin to spin.
- Self-Propel Function: To engage the self-propel function, press the self-propel engagement levers on the handle. Adjust the self-propel speed using the speed control dial (0.9 MPH – 3.1 MPH).
- Mowing: Push the mower forward, allowing the self-propel function to assist. Overlap each pass slightly to ensure an even cut.
- Stopping the Mower: Release the bail switch lever to stop the blades. Release the self-propel engagement levers to stop the self-propel function.
- LED Headlights: The mower is equipped with bright LED headlights for improved visibility.
