This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Retevis RT95 Mobile Ham Radio. The RT95 is a dual-band mobile transceiver designed for reliable communication across 2m and 70cm bands. Setup
Physical Installation
The RT95 mobile radio is compact, measuring 6.42 x 4.88 x 1.54 inches, allowing for flexible installation in vehicles or as a base station. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit for optimal heat dissipation, especially during prolonged high-power transmissions.
Power Connection
Connect the included power cable to the radio's power input. The radio operates on 13.8 Volts DC. Ensure proper polarity (red for positive, black for negative) to prevent damage. The power cable includes an inline fuse for protection.
Microphone and Antenna Connection
Plug the handheld microphone into the RJ45 port on the front panel. Connect your VHF/UHF antenna to the SO-239 connector on the rear of the radio. Ensure a good quality antenna and low SWR for efficient operation.

Operating Instructions
Front Panel Overview
The front panel features a clear TFT LCD display, a power button, six programmable P-buttons (P1-P6), a function (FUNC) button, and a multi-function knob. The microphone connects via an RJ45 jack.
