1. Product Overview

2. Setup

  1. Power Connection: Connect the power cord to the AC inlet on the back of the unit and then to a standard electrical outlet. The unit is bivolt, supporting various voltage inputs automatically.
  2. Placement: Place the boombox on a stable, flat surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
  3. Antenna (FM Radio): For optimal FM radio reception, extend the telescopic antenna located on the back of the unit. Adjust its position for the best signal.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 General Controls

  • Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
  • Volume Buttons (V-, V+): Press V- to decrease volume, V+ to increase volume.
  • EQ/MODE Button: Press to cycle through different playback modes (CD, USB, AUX, FM Radio).
  • Repeat/Stop Button: Controls repeat functions during playback and stops current playback.
  • Skip/Search Buttons (⏮, ⏭): Press to skip tracks. Hold to fast forward or rewind within a track.
  • Play/Pause Button (⏸): Starts or pauses playback.
  • P+/SCAN Button: Used for scanning and storing radio stations in FM mode.

3.2 CD/MP3 CD Playback

  1. Open the CD compartment cover.
  2. Place a CD or MP3 CD with the label side facing up.
  3. Close the CD compartment cover securely.
  4. Press the EQ/MODE button until 'CD' appears on the display.
  5. Press the Play/Pause button (⏸) to begin playback.
  6. Use the Skip/Search buttons (⏮, ⏭) to navigate tracks.
  7. Press the Repeat/Stop button to stop playback or activate repeat functions (e.g., repeat one track, repeat all tracks).

3.3 USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port.
  2. Press the EQ/MODE button until 'USB' appears on the display.
  3. The unit will automatically scan and begin playing MP3 files from the USB drive.
  4. Use the Skip/Search buttons (⏮, ⏭) to navigate tracks.
  5. Press the Repeat/Stop button to stop playback or activate repeat functions.

3.4 FM Radio Operation

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna for better reception.
  2. Press the EQ/MODE button until 'FM' appears on the display.
  3. Press the P+/SCAN button to automatically scan and store available FM radio stations.
  4. Use the Skip/Search buttons (⏮, ⏭) to tune to the next or previous stored station.

3.5 AUX Input

  1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX IN port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
  2. Press the EQ/MODE button until 'AUX' appears on the display.
  3. Control playback directly from your connected external device. The boombox will act as a speaker.

3.6 Headphone Usage

To listen privately, connect headphones to the PHONES jack. The main speakers will be muted automatically.

4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • CD Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches. Store them in their cases when not in use.
  • Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, disconnect it from the power outlet and store it in a cool, dry place.

5. Troubleshooting

  • No Power:
    • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the unit and the electrical outlet.
    • Verify the power outlet is functional.
  • No Sound:
    • Increase the volume using the V+ button.
    • If headphones are connected, disconnect them.
    • For AUX input, ensure the volume on the external device is also turned up.
  • CD Not Playing:
    • Ensure the CD is clean and free of scratches.
    • Verify the CD is inserted correctly with the label side up.
    • Ensure the unit is in 'CD' mode.
  • USB Not Recognized:
    • Ensure the USB drive is properly inserted.
    • Verify the unit is in 'USB' mode.
    • Check if the USB drive contains compatible MP3 files.
  • Poor FM Radio Reception:
    • Fully extend and adjust the telescopic antenna.
    • Relocate the unit to a different position to improve signal.
